Femke Hiemstra

Dutch artist and illustrator Femke Hiemstra graduated from the School of Arts in Utrecht in 1997.  She worked as an illustrator until 2006/2007 when she turned to her personal work.  She uses various media on unusual surfaces, like old book covers and antique wooden panels to create her images.
