Anton Vill

"Estonian artist Anton Vill has a deft hand for rendering viscera. Using humble media such as graphite and ballpoint pen, Vill renders twisting, writhing human body parts that organize themselves into abstracted, biomorphic shapes. Intestines and limbs intermingle and crania are opened up like treasure troves. These works are sometimes humorous and sometimes nightmarish, playing with our knee-jerk responses to the unsightly elements of the body. Take a look at some of his artwork, images courtesy of Anton Vill."
